I’m Stephanie Gilbert, the Founder + Creative Director of Small Talk Social.
Since 2015, I’ve been helping other bloggers + creative business owners tell their brand’s unique story through social media.
Although at one point I legitimately wanted to be backup dancer for Britney Spears, (pre- breakdown Britney, of course), my career path has remained a visual one-- with past lives spent as an editorial stylist, a wedding/ event planner + a visual merchandising manager.
After overseeing social media accounts for lifestyle retailer, Urban Outfitters, I realized that all of that previous curation, styling + sales experience was leading me directly down the path to where I am now. After four years learning from the creative minds at UO, I was ready to do my own thing.
So, I took the solopreneur plunge + started Small Talk Social. I've loved helping other biz owners use social media to connect directly with their ideal audience. No two days are ever the same-- and because the platforms are always changing, it’s a constant learning experience + a welcomed challenge.
After a year + a half of freelancing, my little biz has grown up-- evolving from a one-woman social media show-- to a boutique social media agency.
The Small Talk agency specializes in social media management, content creation + influencer marketing for lifestyle brands. We’re a creative team of social media and PR experts + we make you look damn good on social.
I also love teaching others-- so I also offer private consulting for you or your marketing team.
